The City of Miramar announces the availability of approximately ($1,104,331) in housing rehabilitation. The source of this funding is ($474,331) in Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and approximately ($630,000) in funding from the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP). Funds from the Housing Rehabilitation Program will be used for City of Miramar housing initiatives for low- and middle-income households, with priority given to households with special needs.
Screening forms will be distributed to ALL Miramar residents on their US Mail Water Bill for the Housing Rehabilitation Program. Screening forms can also be obtained by visiting Community Revitalization Affiliates, Inc. or by downloading from the following websites www.crasouthfl.com or www.miramarfl.gov, beginning with October 05, 2022.
Residents interested in the Housing Rehabilitation Program MUST return their completed prescreening form to Community Revitalization Affiliates, Inc. IN PERSON by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022. Forms will NOT be accepted by email or regular mail.

The pre-selection form is NOT an application and no pre-selection form will be accepted. after 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022. Community Revitalization Affiliates will review all screening forms to determine applicant eligibility. Those who qualify will receive a letter, email or phone call indicating the specific date, time and location where the application will be distributed. Those who are not eligible will receive a letter stating that they are not eligible for the program. If you have already received assistance from the city of Miramar, you may not be eligible for additional assistance. If you are a special needs/disabled person and require assistance, you MUST call (954) 939-3271 no later than Wednesday, November 9, 2022 before 4:30 p.m.

Housing Rehabilitation Program –

Provides assistance to households to correct building code violations, make barrier-free modifications, install hurricane protection, make weatherization upgrades, promote energy efficiency/conservation, and address other minor repairs at home for homeowners
City properties. Available for low and moderate income households up to 80% AMI.
