Heathrow Express has appointed Mark Eastwood as Head of Commercial Strategy.
Eastwood, who will take up the role in March, has worked for the rail service since 2018 as director of business development.
In this new role, he will lead the creation and execution of the company’s business vision and be responsible for technology, ticketing pricing strategy, marketing and public relations, as well as sales and of distribution.
As Business Development Manager, East has been credited with implementing new distribution strategies for Heathrow Express and improving access to the service globally through distribution partners and aggregators.
Prior to joining the company, he worked at BA-parent International Airlines Group and held roles at Avios and Virgin Atlantic.
Sophie Chapman, Chief Commercial Officer of Heathrow Express, said: “Mark has already made a significant contribution to the commercial success of Heathrow Express by developing strategic partners for the business in travel, technology and rail. I look forward to welcoming him to the management team and working together to execute our business strategy and continue Heathrow Express’ successful post-Covid recovery.”

He replaces Karan Suri who left the railway industry.
