LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Local chief Brian Roland is being transferred to rehab to continue his recovery process following an accident at a Naples car dealership in December.
Roland, a beloved chef and member of the SWFL culinary and charity scene, was airlifted to hospital on December 4 after an accident involving a vehicle lift at a Ferrari dealership.
“We hope Chief Brian continues to make progress in his recovery. Chief Brian and his wife, Nicole, thank the community for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time in their lives,” the Roland family said in a statement Friday.
Roland’s stint in rehab is the next step in his recovery after a long stay at Lee Memorial Hospital, his family said.
Crave Culinaire, the catering company founded by Roland, and all of its sister companies, announced that they would resume operations at full capacity just over a month after the accident.
