Mondelez World Travel Retail presents its 2022 strategy to lead confectionery recovery and drive engagement through relevant product promotions and offerings, immersive experiences and a strong sustainability agenda.

Its large portfolio covers all major confectionery categories – chocolate, cookies, gums and candies – and includes leading brands such as Toblerone, Milka, Cadbury, Oreo, Daim, Côte d’Or, Mirabell, Marabou, Freia, Trident, Stimorol and Bassett’s.

Key brands Toblerone, Cadbury and Milka are among those showcased in vivid 360-degree virtual environments. Each brand room features interactive elements highlighting key USPs and special projects.

The Snacking Space presents the Mondelez WTR Snacking catalog and displays, while Sustainability details the company’s commitments and projects.

The Confectionery Powerhouse leverages the strength of the main Toblerone brand to support One Tree Planted through a retail campaign, with one donation made and one tree planted with every purchase in select locations.

Iris Litschauer, Senior Director of Business Development at Mondelez WTR, leads a fascinating Experience Arena session, highlighting her sustainability mission of leading environmental change “good for travelers and for the planet”. She is joined by Abby Loadeer, CircleSquare Account Manager and Frank D. Hansen, Category Manager Gebr Heinemann.

The session highlights the recent activation of Zero Waste Cocoa Life at Oslo Airport, a first for Mondelez WTR globally, and the confectionery category leader hopes to inspire even greater breakthroughs in how the sustainability is prioritized in the channel.
