Three Palms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in East Ridge received five stars

The Three Palms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, part of the East Ridge Life Plan community, recently received a prestigious five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, the federal administrative support agency for US citizens. 65 years and over.

The rating system has an overall rating of five stars for retirement homes and a separate rating for each of the three sources of information: health inspections, staffing and quality of resident care measures.

East Ridge has received an overall five-star rating from CMS, and this is the first time Three Palms has achieved this rating. For staffing and quality of resident care, Three Palms received a “well above average” five-star rating. In Miami Dade County – from Homestead to North Miami Beach – 46 nursing homes were rated, and Three Palms was one of 19 nursing homes to receive a five-star rating.

Having that scoring system and East Ridge’s track record definitely helps, ”said Desiree Sebastian, director of health services for the community. “The Three Palms team celebrates this five-star rating because it truly reflects their dedication. Residents of East Ridge also take pride in knowing that the community center is highly rated.

The Five Star Quality Rating System was created by CMS to help consumers, families and caregivers more easily compare nursing homes and help them research options.

Three Palms offers both short-term recovery and rehabilitation services as well as long-term care services focused on the emotional and physical well-being of an individual. Three Palms is open to residents of East Ridge and extended to the general public. You do not have to live in East Ridge to use the services of the Three Palms Health Center.
